Frimley B, in the First Division, recorded their first victory of the season against their A team, 8-2. Clive Welsman and Keith Falconer both recorded trios. Two man Fleet A and Ash B shared the points with Fleet’s David Joyce undefeated. Central A whitewashed Ash A thanks to Phil Snelson, Paul Baker and Julie Lawrence.

In the Second Division Tennis E also broke their duck with a 6-4 victory over Braybrooke A. Dave Connelly was unbeaten for Braybrooke but all the Tennis team, Stuart Middlemiss, George Carder and Dave Hewitt bagged braces. Ash D eased past Cody A 7-3 with both Andy Clegg and Paul Creamer notching up trios. Tennis C proved too strong for Crawley Ridge A winning 6-4. No player was unbeaten with pairs for Dennis Smith for Crawley Ridge and Mirko Danso and Shaun Newbold for Tennis. Bentley B beat Frimley C 8-2 with Robin Street claiming a full house and Paul Farrant and Eric North supporting with duos.

At the half way stage of the season Tennis F appear to have the Third Division at their mercy. Their latest, 8-2, success over the G team gives them a commanding lead. Graham McCulley was unbeaten whilst Peter Butler and Peter Killick supported with pairs. Cody B and Fleet B shared the points with all players winning and losing. Andrew Blunden and Rob Brook each won twice for Fleet with Jock Docherty matching that for Cody. Tennis H beat Ash E 7-3 with all the team, Graham Rudd, Dave Lewis and Charles Burton winning a couple. Tom Gordon matched this for Ash.

In the Fourth Division Crawley Ridge D whitewashed one of their closets rivals, Tennis J. Eric Wong, Yeuk Wan and David Marchant picked up the points. Braybrooke B remain second after a 9-1 success over Tennis K. Alan Burkey and Sandra Jackson notched up trios whilst Kenny Duarte won a couple. Frimley F eased past Ash G 6-4 with Charles Rhodes unbeaten for Frimley. Bob Murrell and Sheila Pretty each won twice for Ash. Ash F and Fleet C shared the spoils with Graham Thomas unbeaten for Ash and Brian Lunn supporting with a duo. Alan Yeung won twice for Fleet.
