Frimley C, in the Third Division, maintained their perfect record with an 8-2 victory over previously unbeaten Tennis F. Bob Walker led the way with a maximum whilst Peter Farrelly and John Eade both won twice but both lost to Tennis’ Peter Killick. Cody C beat two-man Ash D 8-2 to retain their unbeaten record. John Harvey and Jock Docherty were both unbeaten for Cody. Cody D whitewashed two-woman Ash F. Dean Hewitt, Fan Lei and John Asprey collared the points. Ash E beat Tennis G 8-2 with both Jo Bartlett and Amy Parkes notching trios. Crawley Ridge A edged away from the relegation zone with an emphatic 8-2 win over Frimley D. Corin Moore and Ken Thompson won all their matches whilst Russell Gibbs bagged a brace.

The top of the First Division is very competitive with both leaders securing 9-1 victories. Central B beat Ash A with Martin Townshend and Robin Pretty winning three apiece and Dave Phelps notching a duo. Tennis A beat Cody A by the same scoreline with Eliot Tilley and Simon Turner each winning all their matches and Rod Kay twice successful. Central A beat Tennis C 8-2 with Phil Snelson and Dennis Perrett both recording maximums and Peter Millard notching a couple.

In the Second Division Tennis D easily beat an injury affected Ash C 9-1. Michael Kwan won all three with Dave Hewitt winning the couple he played. Fleet A beat Cody B 8-2 with David Joyce winning all three. John Upham and Melvyn Lovegrove both won twice in support. Broadmoor B and Frimley B shared the points with Broadmoor’s Robert Hawes unbeaten and team-mate Mark Armstrong winning twice as did Frimley’s Hudson Foley.

There were some tight matches in the Fourth Division with leaders, Crawley Ridge B, losing 6-4 to Frimley E. Denys Smithers won all his three for Crawley Ridge with the Frimley pair of Steve Chapman and Maureen Bromley each winning twice. Cody E maintained their perfect record with a 7-3 victory over Tennis H. Alan Richards and Kim Phillips both secured maximums. Ash H beat Broadmoor C 6-4 with Darren Milstead winning all three and colleague Ben Carr twice successful as was Broadmoor’s Gabriel Ailioae. Cody F beat Ash G by 6-4 with John Sheehy winning all his three for Cody. Phil Russell supported with a duo which was matched by Ash’s Bob Murrell. Ash K edged past their J team 6-4. Dave Brown recorded a trio for the K team with team mate Stuart Wickham winning a couple as did  John Hutchinson for the J side.
