Frimley D closed the gap on Ash D by beating them 7-3, David Mackinnon and Anthony Connelly saw Frimley up to third spot in Division 3 of the Aldershot & District Table Tennis League.
Ash E and Broadmoor C played out a mid table five all draw, the stand out match being Andy Stenning’s 16-14 in the fifth win over Roger McCulley.
Ash F have only one victory to show this season but are picking up points thanks mainly to George Carder who won all three in a 6-4 deafeat to Crawley Ridge A.
Tennis F are up to fifth after a comprehensive 10-0 rout of two man Ash E, Graham Marshall, Ron Wale and Ian Brown won all their games.
Leaders Cody F had two straight forward wins at the top of Division 4, 9-1 over Crawley Ridge B and 8-2 over Fleet CC C, Vic King masterful in winning six out of six.
Ash J have seven wins out of seven and consolidated second spot thanks to another Terry Kavanagh trio during a 8-2 victory at Cody E however Tennis H are hot on Ash’s heels after a 9-1 thrashing of Frimley F, Keith Johnson and Martin Evans both leading the promotion charge with triples.
A gallant three from John Hutchinson couldn’t help second from bottom Ash G slumping to a 7-3 loss against Frimley E for whom Stephen Bridle, Barry Jones and Roger Wichelow won the remaining matches without dropping a single game.
Ash K and Fleet CC C played out a five all draw to consolidate mid table slots, Dave Phillips was the man of the match after an impressive three for Ash.
